. My Nikon D3100 has just developed a problem where it produces blurry pictures. If I shut it off for a little while it will not do it when it's first turned back on. I can actually hear it acting differently when it's producing a blurry picture. I'm fairly camera illiterate which will not help here but

AF-P type lenses are not compatible with this camera as they use a new type of electromagnetic focus system that the D3100 cannot communicate with. The D3100 will be compatible with AF-S type lenses.
